Sculpture
Terracotta comes from the Italian words for “baked earth”.
It is one of the most ancient and organic type of clay.
On its body the Elements are decorated bringing their powerful meaning alive and touchable.
Acknowledgement
Topopatu is located on the Land of the Boonwurrung People of the Kulin Nations.
We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Land and Waters of Australia, and their continuing cultural, spiritual customs and practices.
We pay our respect to Elders past and present, and extended that respect to all First Nations people today.
